Many agents or clients get discouraged with the wait time or possibility that the shortsale escrow may never close. However, with the new HAFA program being offered, clients may want to revisit the shortsale.  The process or length of time of an escrow can be quite dependent on the skill of the listing agent.  But, if you're willing to wait, you may have a better chance of buying a property at a discount.  Search for shortsale listings or foreclosed properties.  If you need more help or info, give Ronda a call.
